Oluremi Tinubu Hails Super Falcons’ 10th WAFCON Triumph

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to the Super Falcons following their historic 10th triumph at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), hailing their achievement as a symbol of resilience, excellence, and national pride.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the First Lady praised the Falcons’ thrilling 3-2 victory as more than just a football win, describing it as “a testament to hard work, consistency, and the indomitable Nigerian spirit.”

“I celebrate you, our beautiful and lovely Super Falcons, for the landmark victory of your 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations championship,” she said.

Senator Tinubu emphasized the pride and inspiration the team has brought to the nation, particularly to Nigerian women and young girls across the continent.

“You have once again lifted the pride of our dear nation and cemented your place as Queens of African football,” she noted. “You have written your names in gold and inspired millions across the continent.”

The First Lady expressed gratitude on behalf of the Nigerian women and the entire country, thanking God for what she described as a “sweet victory” that reflects the strength and unity of the nation.

“Nigeria celebrates you,” she concluded. “Congratulations, Super Falcons!”
