The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has paid a courtesy visit to former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd.), at his residence in Minna, Niger State.
Accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, the First Lady’s visit was aimed at checking on the former leader’s well-being. After exchanging pleasantries, they proceeded into a closed-door meeting.
Senator Tinubu also visited the residence of former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd.), on a similar mission.
While receiving the First Lady, General Abubakar expressed appreciation for her visit, describing it as heartwarming and thoughtful.
The wife of the former Head of State was also on hand to welcome Senator Oluremi Tinubu during the visit.
