The event, which formed part of the Spouses’ Programme, was held at the Nike Art Gallery in Abuja. It featured cultural dance performances, a fashion show, and an art exhibition.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu noted that the continent’s diverse cultures, ethnic groups, and traditions are among its greatest strengths.

She expressed pride in showcasing one of Africa’s foremost art galleries—Nike Art Gallery—to her distinguished guests, including the First Ladies of Malawi and Gabon, the wife of the Vice President of Tanzania, and a representative of the First Lady of Egypt.

Nigeria’s First Lady also led her guests on an excursion through Nigerian designer stalls to sightsee and shop.

Though the reception had a relaxed atmosphere, its core message resonated with the broader agenda of the AFREXIM Bank Annual Meeting.

Beyond facilitating economic deals and charting a new path for Africa’s prosperity, the 2025 gathering also celebrates the convergence of culture and commerce.
