Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim community as they celebrate this year’s Maulud Nabiyy, the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In her message, the First Lady highlighted the significance of the Prophet’s life and his embodiment of peace, compassion, and unity.
“This occasion reminds us of the values of peace, compassion, and unity that the Prophet exemplified throughout his life,” she said.
Senator Tinubu called on Nigerians, especially the Muslim ummah, to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet, which include love, kindness, and tolerance, as these virtues are essential in fostering stronger communities and a more harmonious society.
“Let us use this opportunity to reflect on his teachings of love, kindness, and tolerance, which will help us build stronger communities and a more harmonious society,” she added.
She expressed her heartfelt wishes for the day to bring joy and peace to the homes of all Nigerians and the nation at large.
“May the blessings of this day bring joy and peace to our homes and our country.”
