Popular Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has broken her silence on her separation from Saheed Olarewaju, popularly known as Jago, revealing the role of damaging rumors and financial hardships in their split.
In an interview on Wasila Coded TV with host Bimpe Akintunde, Odusanya disclosed that a friend allegedly misled her ex-husband by spreading false claims.
According to Odusanya, the friend told Jago that she planned to leave him to pursue prostitution and accused her of an affair with a senator.
“A friend of mine told my partner that I wanted to leave him and go into prostitution. That I went to sleep in a senator’s house with our daughter, Fife. My mouth was left open when he told me,” Odusanya shared.
She clarified that she was able to disprove the allegations, sending her ex a timestamped video as proof of her location.
Reflecting on her challenges post-separation, she admitted facing severe financial difficulties.
“When we left, I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account. All my jewelry was taken, and I fainted with that. I cried so much that day because I didn’t have money for accommodation,” she recounted.
