The Presidential bid of the former Lagos State Governor, BOLA TINUBU has received a major boost as the South West leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria has thrown their weight behind his ambition.

The Lagos State Chairman of CAN, Bishop STEPHEN ADEGBITE announced this endorsement in Lagos at the presentation of account of twelve years stewardship in the National Assembly by Senator OLUREMI TINUBU.

Bishop ADEGBITE said the former Lagos state Governor deserved the vote of every Nigerian irrespective of religion and ethnicity since he never for once discriminate against anyone during his years in the helms of affairs in the state.

He said Nigerians should not be misinformed on the Muslim-Muslim Ticket of the ruling APC saying what they should rather be concerned about is service delivery to the people.

He further said and I quote ” No one should mislead anyone on the Muslim Muslim Ticket of the APC but Nigerians should be bothered about whether those flying the joint Ticket of the party can deliver on Electioneering promises to the people. Nigerians want people in office based on merit”. End of quote.

While rendering account of twelve years in the Senate representing the Lagos Central Senatorial District, OLUREMI TINUBU also solicited support for the Presidential ambition of her husband, BOLA TINUBU.

She said TINUBU is well prepared to serve the country and change the lives of the majority for good with his people’s oriented programmes.

OLUREMI TINUBU promised to remain a good Ambassador of the Lagos Central Senatorial District even while serving as the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The outgoing member of the National Assembly assured of more empowerment and humanitarian support to the less privileged nationwide as soon as her husband takes the mantle of leadership.

Also speaking, the First Lady of Lagos State, IBIJOKE SANWOOLU said the good legacies left behind by Senator OLUREMI TINUBU will be built upon.

On the forthcoming general elections IBIJOKE SANWOOLU advocated for violence free Electioneering campaigns while urging residents to support the re-election bid of his husband.

On his part, the Chairman of the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, CORNELIUS OJELABI assured of maximum support for all the candidates of the party contesting in the 2023 General elections.
