Akin Bashiru, Alimosho Local Government Coordinator of the PBAT-KOH Campaign Council, has become the first local government coordinator in Lagos State to receive a dedicated campaign vehicle, in a move expected to boost grassroots mobilisation and campaign operations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The vehicle is expected to facilitate community engagement, improve operational efficiency and strengthen coordination across Alimosho Local Government Area.

The development also signals a broader effort to enhance the operational capacity of Alimosho Federal Constituency, with similar vehicles expected to be delivered to the other five Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
The initiative is expected to strengthen campaign structures, deepen stakeholder engagement and consolidate Alimosho’s position as a major political force in Lagos State.
The campaign activities will cover the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Assembly candidates, the governorship candidacy of Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and all APC House of Assembly candidates.

Speaking on the development, Bashiru expressed appreciation to the six council chairmen and their respective party chairmen, who serve as co-coordinators of the campaign structure, as well as the apex leadership of various groups across Alimosho.
He particularly acknowledged the support and contributions of Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire; Chief Tunde Aboyade, Vice Chairman of APC in Lagos State; Hon. Bisi Yusuf; and Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo.
He also commended the six council chairmen, their respective party chairmen and other political leaders across Alimosho for their continued encouragement and commitment to strengthening the campaign machinery.

Bashiru noted that the unity and cooperation demonstrated by the leaders would be critical to consolidating grassroots structures, improving coordination across the six council areas and advancing the constituency’s collective political objectives.
He expressed confidence that sustained leadership support and collective commitment would provide a solid foundation for the campaign’s success ahead of the 2027 general elections.
