As the 2023 general elections draws nearer, a political group known as AL-ULAMAH Support Group for Ahmed Tinubu has asked those with the intention to disrupt the exercise to bury the thoughts.
The group believes that the 2023 elections presents a vital opportunity for Nigerians to change the narrative in order to move the country forward.
The Coordinator of the group, Alhaji ISIAK YAHYA ABOLARIN said they were however optimistic of victory for all the APC candidates in the poll.
While speaking at a strategic meeting, ABOLARIN urged Nigerians to go into the electoral exercise with the spirit of oneness and nationalism.
He also said that election should be seen as do or die adding everyone should see it as a collextive process to fight insecurity, corruption and restoration of the nation’s economy.
The ASGAT Coordinator reminded Nigerians who participated in the last registration exercise to pick up their PVCs which is only license to partake in the electoral process.
ASGAT is made up of Islamic Scholar from Ijesha, Coker Aguda, Itire Ikate, Ajegunle, and Orile under Surulere Federal Constituency two.
