It was an exciting and memorable moment for the people of Badagry as they welcomed their son, Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose, to a heroic homecoming during the commissioning of legacy projects initiated by the governorship aspirant for the benefit of residents.
Some of the projects included the laying of the foundation of the SMA Badagry Federation House at Ibereko and the commissioning of the Agbalata Market in the area.

The visit by Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose also provided a platform for a Badagry Federation stakeholders’ meeting held at the Badagry City Hall, where stakeholders unanimously agreed to work for the victory of President Bola Tinubu and the party’s Lagos State governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Hamzat, in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
The Badagry Federation House is expected to serve as a permanent venue for major political engagements involving members, stakeholders, and supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) across the Badagry Division.
Top traditional rulers, party leaders, and captains of industry from Badagry were present to add glamour to the various events.
The Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the APC, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, commended Dr. Ajose for his humanitarian disposition and commitment to giving back to his community.
Ojelabi, who was represented by the Lagos State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Tolani Sule Akibu, urged other wealthy residents to emulate the philanthropist’s gesture. He also charged beneficiaries to not only protect the projects but also make judicious use of them.
He further prayed for the successful completion of the SMA Badagry Federation House project and the continued growth of the ruling party in the state.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Samuel Mawuyon Ajose pledged to complete the Federation House within two months, ahead of the campaign activities for Dr. Kadri Hamzat and the re-election campaign of President Bola Tinubu under the Renewed Hope 2.0 Agenda.
According to him, the Federation House is more than just a building, as it represents a commitment to unity, structure, and a stronger APC in Badagry ahead of the 2027 general elections.
During the stakeholders’ meeting, residents who called for greater inclusion of Badagry in the political affairs of the state were reassured that necessary steps had been taken within the corridors of power to address past injustices and neglect.
