Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated Muslims across the country on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, urging citizens to embrace unity and compassion as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.
In her message to mark the 2026 Eid celebration, the First Lady reflected on the spiritual significance of Ramadan, noting that the period fostered devotion, self-restraint, generosity, and deeper reflection among the faithful.
She expressed hope that the lessons and values imbibed during the holy month would not fade, but instead continue to guide individuals in their daily lives.
Oluremi Tinubu appealed to Nigerians to uphold peace and mutual respect, stressing the importance of harmony across religious and ethnic lines for national progress.
She also reminded citizens of the need to support vulnerable members of society during the festive season, encouraging acts of kindness and charity.
