The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has urged Nigerians to embrace the values of love, compassion, kindness and generosity as they celebrate Christmas, while extending hope for a more united and prosperous nation in the coming year.
In her Christmas message titled “Hope Beyond the Season,” Senator Tinubu reminded citizens that the Yuletide period, marked by the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, is a time for reflection, gratitude and service to humanity.
She encouraged Nigerians to count their blessings and reach out to the less privileged, stressing the importance of supporting those in need.
The First Lady also expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness to the nation and offered prayers for lasting peace and security across the country.
She specifically prayed for the safety and well-being of Christians, Muslims and Nigerians of all faiths, reaffirming the importance of peaceful coexistence.
Looking ahead to the new year, Senator Tinubu expressed optimism that 2026 would usher in greater unity, renewed hope and prosperity for all Nigerians.
She wished citizens a peaceful and joyous holiday season, while reaffirming her goodwill to the nation.
She prayed for Nigeria and extended warm wishes of a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all citizens. “God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
