Former Presidential Spokesman, Dr. Doyin Okupe, has passed away at the age of 72, The Gazelle Newsreports.
According to Sahara Reporters, Okupe’s death was linked to prostate cancer, which he had been battling for 16 years.
Reports indicate that he had been critically ill in recent weeks before eventually succumbing to the illness.
In October 2023, he was flown to Israel for treatment after being hospitalized due to complications from the disease.
However, his condition worsened in recent weeks, ultimately leading to his passing.
