As we fondly remember our progenitor, the late Mallam Shehu Na Maibiriji Agege, we recall his exceptional qualities that earned him a revered position among the Arewa residents of Agege.
During his lifetime, he demonstrated unwavering integrity, prudence, and accountability, which remained unblemished until his passing.
Mallam Shehu Na Maibiriji’s remarkable life was marked by his selfless service to the community. As the clerk and representative of Darocha Estate and Farm Lands, spanning over 55 hectares in Agege, Lagos State, he played a pivotal role in managing the vast parcel of land.
From the late 1930s to the mid-1990s, he brokered numerous leasing contracts, facilitated genuine sales of over 848 plots of land, and ensured seamless transactions for housing development purposes.

His leadership and vision were instrumental in shaping the community’s growth and development.
Mallam Shehu Na Maibiriji worked tirelessly to ensure that the interests of the Darocha De Santos Candido family, Agege indigenes, and residents were protected and represented. His dedication and commitment earned him the respect and trust of all who knew him.
Mallam Shehu Na Maibiriji’s exemplary character and leadership earned him the respect and trust of the community.
As the Custodian of Arewa Residual in Lagos, he demonstrated unwavering integrity, prudence, and accountability. His legacy continues to inspire generations, reminding us of the importance of living a life of service, integrity, and compassion.

Mallam Shehu Na Maibiriji lived a long and fulfilling life, passing away in May 1995 at the age of 86.
His life was a testament to his strength, resilience, and dedication to his community. We remember him fondly, and may Allah SWT grant him Aljannatul Firdausi. May his soul rest in perfect peace, Amin.
