The Vice Chairman of Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Oluremi Nutayi Ajose, has passed away, thegazellenews.com reports.
Her death comes just two months after she was sworn in alongside the Council Chairman, Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren, popularly known as RIKAY.
A family source confirmed to Badagry Today that her remains have been deposited in the morgue.
News of her demise has spread across social media, with Citymood Badagry and other local platforms confirming the development.
Princess Remi was the daughter of His Royal Majesty, Oba Oyekan Possi Ajose, the Alapa of Apa Egun-Awori Kingdom.
As of press time, the cause of her death has not been disclosed.
Her passing marks the third loss of a female elected administrator in Lagos this year—barely months into their tenure.
Earlier, Oluwakemi Rufai, a councilor in Ibeju-Lekki, died two weeks after her swearing-in, while Zainab Shotayo of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA passed away a few days later.
