Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has extended her heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Mohammed Umar Bago, and the people of Niger State following the tragic tanker explosion that occurred on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
In her statement, the First Lady expressed deep sorrow over the devastating loss of lives and properties resulting from the explosion, particularly in the Agaie Area of the North-Central Local Government Area.
“My thoughts and prayers are with you all, especially the people of Agaie Area in North-Central Local Government Area, Niger State,” she said.
Senator Tinubu prayed for the bereaved families, asking Almighty Allah to grant them the strength to cope with the painful loss and for the souls of the deceased to find peace.
“I pray that Almighty Allah grants the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss. May Allah grant them all Aljannah Firdaus,” she added.
The tanker explosion has left the nation in mourning, with many grieving the lives lost in the tragic incident.
