Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said he has no plan to leave his post but admits that the Reds need to “play better now”.
He said: “If nobody tells me to go, I will not leave so that means maybe there is a point where we have to change other stuff”.
The German coach, in charge since 2015, has won domestic & European trophies. He guided the club to their first consecutive UEFA Champion League finals in 2018 and 2019, winning the latter to secure Liverpool’s sixth title in the competition and the German’s first as coach of the English side.
The following season Jurgen Klopp won the UEFA Super Cup and the the first Fifa Club World Cup for Liverpool. As a result of this achievements, The 55-year-old won the FIFA Coach Of The Year 2018,2019 season.
But in recent weeks the Reds performance has been in shackles especially the 3-0 away defeat to Brighton on Saturday, which has began to raise speculations about the performance of the squad and the managerial system, Klopp said “We have to play better football now.”
