The Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Eng Valentine Buraimoh believes the decision of the former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu to vie for Presidency in 2023 deserves the support of everyone irrespective of religion or tribe.

He said the decision described by Asiwaju Tinubu as a long time ambition is a movement endorsed by God which no one can stand against.

The council boss stated this at the council Secretariat in Amuwo Odofin during the interractive session with the Chief Press Secretaries of Council Chairmen in the state.

The session was in  preparations ahead of the forthcoming October Workshop of the CPS of Conference 57 holding in Bariga area of the state.

Eng Valentine Buraimoh said Tinubu remains the best man for the job having left a legacy in Lagos in which successive administrations have built upon.

According to him, the former Lagos state helmsman and the APC national leader never played politics with talents and merits reasons why he appointed non idigines in his cabinet.

He also noted that it is pay back time for Asiwaju Tinubu having led some committed Nigerians for the return of Democratic Rule in the country in 1999.

Eng Buraimoh tasked the CPS to use their platform to promote all the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections from Asiwaju Tinubu to State House of Assembly flag bearers.

The Amuwo Odofin Chairman promised to champion the need for due recognition for the CPS among his colleagues stressing that there is no conflict with their job and that of the council Information officers.

On his part, the Chairman of Conference 57 CPS Ayeyemi Ayodele, assured of renewed commitments to their duty while commending the Amuwo Odofin council boss for the infrastructural renewal within the premises.

He equally thanked him for the annual support of the programme saying the gains of the workshop always reflects in their job of publicising their principals.

Earlier in the Lecture titled ” The Relevance of the Media Aides to Council Chairmen in promoting their Achievements/Scorecard at the grassroots” Broadcast Journalist, Mr Taiwo Olapade stressed the need for performance on the part of the council Chairmen in order to keep their Media Aides on their toes.

He was of the view that if majority of the council Chairmen in Lagos lived up to expectations, the state will be the envy of all in terms of delivering of dividends of democracy to the people.

The Broadcast Journalist recalled that in the build up to 2015 Presidential Election that brought President Muhammadu Buhari into office, it was the massive and constructive collaboration with the Media by the then Spokesnan of APC and now the Minister for Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed that made Nigerians to know the inadequacies of the President Jonathan’s administration and his eventual loss of the election.

Taiwo Olapade cited cases of people who used the Media as a tool for Propaganda even when they have not done well in their given responsibilities but succeeded in using the Media to portray them in good light.

For this reason, he challenged the Council Chairmen to deliver on their Electioneering Campaigns and promises for their Media Aides to have tangible information to showcase in the Media.
