Frontline aspirant for the Lagos West Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro has successfully gone through the screening exercise conducted for National Assembly members by the APC screening panel.
Senator Obanikoro was screened today, Sunday, 15 May, 2022 at the Fraser Suites venue of the screening and he scaled through the screening with all the necessary documents intact and approved by the panel.
Speaking with the media after the exercise, the former Nigerian High Commisioner to Ghana expressed appreciation to party leaders and members for their support.
“I want to expressed appreciation to all the party leaders, members and campaign team members. We have gone through this successfully and the stage is set for the primaries.
“I want to continue to seek for your support all the time,” he said.
The former Minister of State for Defence also commended the members of the screening panel for diligence and strict adherence to the rules.
“Members of the screening panel went through with high sense of diligence, humility and patience. I commend them,” he said.
