Odunmbaku who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr Adeniyi Adedapo and the councillor representing Ward E, Hon. Lekan Peters, reiterated that his administration will continue to support the less privileged. “What we are doing here today is in line with my H.E.Y.S agenda, we want to try as much as possible to reach out to more orphanage homes, not just that but also to take as many children out of the streets and back to schools,” he said.

He added: I thank MTN Nigeria for these donations, this marks the beginning of our partnership, we look forward to doing more projects together.”

The council chair called on other multinationals, and corporate organisations to join the movement in supporting programs of his government while pledging political will of a win-win situation. “Together with multinationals like MTN Group, Corporate organizations, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) within Ojodu, we can reach out to more orphanage homes. Not just that, we also need support in acquiring modern equipment for our Primary Healthcare Centres.

“Job employment for our youths among others. For whoever supports the government, we also have the political will to pay back one way or the other, it’s a win-win situation for us and all our partners.

Items presented include bags of garri, rice, tins of cholesterol-free vegetable oil, toiletries, cartons of sugar, tubers of yam, palm oil, maggie, detergents, diapers, washing bar soap, spaghetti and beverages.
