A philanthropist identified as Yusuf Oladipipo Olaseni has donated school bags, exercise books and writing materials to public primary and secondary schools in Alimosho Federal Constituency.
The young politician cum business and staunch disciple of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is widely known for his philanthropic gesture in the area.
Olaseni a strong advocate of Tinubu presidency come 2023 distributed 15,000 (fifteen thousand) exercise books and 5,000 (five thousand) school bags to 24 primary schools in the constituency.
The benefited schools cut across Alimosho Local Government and the five LCDAs within the federal constituency.
The high point of the philanthropic gesture was the donation of cash to 15 schools out of the 24 visited to cater for pupils with torn and unfit uniforms.
A minimum of seven pupils per school will benefit from the benevolence act of the youthful and humble politician.
He enjoined the pupils to always pay utmost attention to their studies and be obedient both at home and in school.
Speaking on the declaration of Tinubu for the exalted political office in Nigeria, Olaseni said that he was the happiest person on earth the day the news broke out.
“I can tell you for free that one of my happiest days as a young Nigerian and politcian was the day Jagaban Borgu, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared he will be running for the office of the president in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
“When the news broke, it was as if I won a jackpot because the declaration was long overdue. Asiwaju is a visionary leader and a lover of the masses.”
“This is not contestable, Asiwaju through his visionary ideals and leadership skills was able to position Lagos State to an enviable heights that it is today. His skills in managing human and material resources is legendary.
“It’s not rocket science. All these can be seen in the way he raised the bar of Lagos IGR from four hundred million naira to where it is today through the template he created.”
“Within two days of his declaration, I made over fifteen thousand exercise books and five thousand school bags available in his name for distribution to the pupils in public schools within Alimosho federal constituency as the first phase of my contributions to his aspiration. This is just the beginning of my support to his aspiration,” he averred.
