As political activities gather momentum ahead of the governorship primary, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Hamzat, has continued his high-level consultations with key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a strategic move, Dr. Hamzat paid a courtesy visit to the Ikeja GRA residence of a prominent member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) and former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Sabit Ikuforiji.
The meeting served as an avenue for in-depth engagement, with discussions centered on Dr. Hamzat’s economic blueprint and policy direction for Lagos, as he seeks broader party support ahead of the primaries.
Accompanying the Deputy Governor were notable figures within the party, including former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; GAC member, Alhaji Mutiu Are; and former Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture, Bode Oyedele.
Also on the delegation were the Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure to the Governor, Dr. Adekunle Olayinka, and the immediate past Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Ajala.
