In a grand surprise celebration, Traditional Arewa Youth Chiefs honored Amb. Dr. (Hons) Sani Salisu Danmuttaqa, the Supreme Traditional Youth King of Young Northern Royalties across 17 Southern States of Nigeria, as he marked his 50th birthday on February 3, 2025.
The event was meticulously planned in collaboration with his spouse, Hajiya Habiba Macidan, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure its success.
Dr. Danmuttaqa’s remarkable contributions were acknowledged by his chiefs, who commended his efforts in promoting royal culture, fighting drug abuse, and mentoring young people toward self-reliance while fostering unity across ethnic lines.
Gambo Ibrahim, Jarman SSY – Sarkin Jarimai, expressed gratitude to Allah SWT for Dr. Danmuttaqa’s life, health, and achievements, celebrating his journey to this significant milestone.
In response to the tribute, Dr. Danmuttaqa, the Sarkin Samarin Yamma of the 17 Southern States of Nigeria (SSY-17SSN), extended heartfelt appreciation to his loved ones, chiefs, advisors, and well-wishers for their unwavering support and guidance.
He specifically acknowledged the counsel of His Royal Highness, Mallam Haruna Maiyasin Katsina, Sarkin Sasa Sardaunan Yamma.
Reaffirming his commitment to humanitarian service, Dr. Danmuttaqa expressed optimism for Nigeria’s future, pledging to continue his work in fostering unity, peace, and youth empowerment.
His dedication aligns with the vision of other traditional leaders, including Mr. Abdulhamid Haliru, the newly elected Sarkin Samarin of Nigeria.
A distinguished leader, Dr. Danmuttaqa holds several key positions, reflecting his commitment to service and development.
He serves as the National President of the Sarkin Samarin Yamma Development Initiative (SSYDI), which promotes culture, raises awareness on drug abuse, supports charity, and empowers youth.
Additionally, he is the Coordinator General of the Northern Nigeria Youths Organization (NNYO) Southern Zone, uniting young people from the North to advance progress and development.
Furthermore, he serves as Deputy Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) Southwest Zone, advocating for the welfare and interests of the Arewa community in the Southwest.
