…Dedicates award to personalities who have added value to social and cultural relations across ethnic nationalities
Comrade Amb. (Dr) Alh. Sani Salisu Danmuttaqa, the esteemed Sarkin Samarin Yamma (King of Arewa Youths in the 17 Southern States of Nigeria), has been conferred with the prestigious Trek Africa Social Cultural Personality of the Year Award at the 11th Edition of Trek Africa National Discourse 2024, which took place yesterday ,at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This distinguished recognition acknowledges his exemplary leadership, remarkable achievements in community development, and socio-cultural unity, which have significantly contributed to national socio-economic development.
In a gracious gesture, Comrade Amb. (Dr) Danmuttaqa dedicated the award to five illustrious personalities who have made invaluable contributions to social cultural relations across ethnic nationalities. These distinguished individuals include, Deputy President of the Senate – Senator Dr. Jubrin Barau, CFR, Sultan of Sokoto – His Eminence Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, CFR, Ooni of Ife – His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ọjájá II, CFR, Iyaloja General of Nigeria – Chief (Mrs) Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, Sarkin Quadiriyya of Africa, – His Eminent Peace Ambassador, Fadilatu Dr. Shehu Abdulkadir Jimoh.
Comrade Amb. (Dr) Danmuttaqa expressed his sincere appreciation to the organizers and management of Trek Africa for the esteemed award, praising their efforts in promoting social cultural relations and unity across the continent. He however commend the Northern Traditional Youth Chiefs of Southern States of Nigeria for being being supportive in the course of advocacy, reiterating that “with Trek Africa, we will Trek and Promote our Social Cultural Values across Nigeria”.
As a distinguished leader, Comrade Amb. (Dr) Danmuttaqa’s impressive credentials reflect his dedication to serving humanity. As the President/CEO of Sarkin Samarin Yamma Development Initiative (SSY-DI), Chief Coordinator of the Northern North Youth Organization (NNYO) in Southern States of Nigeria, and UN-Volunteer (IAWPA), he has demonstrated his commitment to promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, and socio-economic development.
His numerous awards and accolades are a testament to his remarkable achievements, including the Honorary Chieftaincy Title – Kham Zaar of Lagos State by Council of GungZaar Lagos.
He is also a vocal advocate for Wazobia as Official Multilingual on Zero to Drug Abuse and a promoter of Royal Culture and Heritage, Youth Mentorship, and Governance across the country.
