The Achievers Youth Forum, a community-driven organization dedicated to sustainable development and social impact, is set to commission a newly constructed borehole in the Iju community on December 26, 2024.
This milestone is another testament to the forum’s commitment to improving lives and fostering positive change.
The organization, known for its innovative approach to community development, has consistently engaged in impactful outreach programs.
These include support for the elderly, widows, and the needy; leadership development workshops for youth; and sustainable service projects.
The borehole project is the latest in a series of initiatives aimed at addressing critical needs in the community.
Previously, the forum gained recognition for installing streetlights in the area, a project made possible through financial support from Hon. Adewale Temitope, the member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Other achievements include settling hospital bills for indigent residents and distributing food supplies to the aged.
Speaking about the forum’s objectives, the President of the Achievers Youth Forum, Amusat Aminu Olanrewaju, reiterated the group’s mission and vision.
He said, “Our mission is to empower youth to transform communities, spreading hope and joy, and creating a brighter future for all, especially the elderly and those in need. This borehole project is a reflection of that commitment and a step towards ensuring that our community thrives.”
