The former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly’s words reflect the profound grief shared across Epe following the devastating event.

The accident, it was reliably gathered, occurred when a truck descending from Ita-Opo reportedly suffered a brake failure, causing it to veer out of control.

After striking a commercial tricycle and a parked Toyota Camry, the truck crashed into the crowded Ayetoro Market, leaving devastation in its wake.

Witnesses described the horrifying scene as one of chaos and loss, with market-goers unable to escape the vehicle’s path.

In the wake of this tragedy, Hon. Olulade’s message on his Facebook wall resonated deeply within the community.

Known for his strong ties to Epe, he joined countless residents in mourning those lost, emphasizing the need for collective support during this painful time.

As Epe grieves, Hon. Olulade’s heartfelt condolences serve as a reminder of the resilience and shared sorrow in the face of the tragedy that has struck his beloved community.

Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, aiming to uncover the factors that led to the brake failure and determine preventive measures for the future.
