A public relations expert and Chairman of Conference 57 CPS, Comrade Ayodele Akeem Ayeyemi, has written a pocket book in honor of Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu to highlight the wonderful projects and initiatives he has executed during his five years in office.
The book, which reflects the author’s mindset, focuses on the Governor’s various interventions in health, environment, infrastructure, and the empowerment of the people, with a particular emphasis on support for the vulnerable through the Ounje Eko program and palliatives for the elderly.
In his reaction, the author stated that he sees the Governor as “God-sent” to the people of Lagos State during a critical period of economic crisis.
He reiterated that the Governor’s interventions and proactive nature prevented the spread of the coronavirus, a feat that has earned him international accolades.
The completion of the Blue and Red Lines for the train service is equally commendable, as it has saved Lagosians from the stress of commuting by bus and the traffic snarls that characterize the Lagos experience.
Overall, Comrade Ayeyemi commended the Governor’s team, both during the first term and now, for being genuine supporters who are truly committed to delivering the Governor’s THEMES agenda.
In his words, “This pocket-sized book, as published by Oluwaseyi Afeni’s Soar Global Initiative, is just my little way of appreciating Governor Sanwo-Olu for his legendary projects across the state. He has displayed an uncommon commitment to the people of Lagos State. He has shown tremendous capacity for leadership, and I am very proud of him. Thus, this little effort to tell the world what he has been able to achieve.”
Continuing, “I am happy that at this critical period of economic challenges, we have a responsible and reliable Governor in Lagos State. He has given a good account of himself as a pragmatic administrator and a public servant with empathy.”
Ayeyemi promised that the book, which will be commissioned on his next birthday (10th of September), will be distributed freely to the people of the state to enable them to read about a man who has shown tremendous support for the people.
