Senator Abiru Extends Condolences To Obasa Over Father’s Demise

Senator Tokunbo Abiru has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, following the death of his father, Pa (Alhaji) Sulaimon Atanda Obasa.

In a statement, Senator Abiru joined other notable figures in Lagos, including distinguished members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), in mourning the loss. He acknowledged the profound grief experienced by the Obasa family during this trying period, highlighting the late patriarch’s exemplary life and the legacy of successful children he left behind, notably the esteemed Speaker, Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa.

“This is indeed a trying period for the Obasa family. I share in their grief, while urging them to take solace in the fact that their late patriarch lived a life worthy of emulation and is survived by successful children,” Senator Abiru stated.

He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the late Alhaji Sulaimon Atanda Obasa Aljannah firdous and to provide the family with the strength to endure the irreparable loss.

“Adieu Pa (Alhaji) Sulaimon Atanda Obasa,” concluded Senator Abiru, who serves as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and other Financial Institutions, and the Chairman of the Southern Senators Forum in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
