President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja, the nation’s capital, for Lagos on Sunday ahead of Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
This move comes as the President intends to observe the solemn occasion, which marks the end of Ramadan, in prayers for Nigeria and with his family.
In a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), it was emphasized that President Tinubu will prioritize moments of reflection and prayer during the Eid-el-Fitr festivities.
This underscores the President’s commitment to observing religious obligations and connecting with his family during significant occasions.
Despite the observance of the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, President Tinubu will continue to fulfill his official duties both during and after the holidays.
This commitment reflects his dedication to serving the nation and addressing key issues of national importance.
