Super Falcons goalkeeper and captain, Chiamaka Nnadozie has won the award for the best female goalkeeper in Africa.
Nnadozie defeated rivals from Morocco and South Africa to win the award.
The award ceremony took place in Morocco on Monday, 11 December, 2023.
Nnadozie was rewarded for stellar performance in France where she keeps goal for Paris FC leading them to their first Champion’s League qualification and ensuring that they qualified for the group stage.
Nnadozie also emerged as one of the best goalkeepers at the World keeping three clean sheets and leading Nigeria to an unscathed record in the World Cup.
