It was a reunion of members of the Danmole and shobodu familes as the final journey to mother earth of Rev Apostle Mother Susanah Adedoyin Danmole kicked off with a Wake Keep ceremony.
The event presided over by Snr Apostle Tayo Ajose of Praying Band, C& S Church, Mushin took place at the prestigious Eko Club Arcade Hall, Bode Thomas in Surulere area of Lagos State.
The event which attracted a large turn out of family members, sympathisers and church members from all works of life commenced with the singing of Hym 38 titled ” Alafia Aye Ese yi” meaning peace unto this world of sins.
He prayed for the repose of late Rev Apostle Mother Susanah Adedoyin Danmole he described as a lover of God and mankind.
Snr Apostle Tayo Ajose urged people who attended the Wake Keep to be very conscious of the way they live their lives since they will one day returned to their creator and render account of stewardship.
Also speaking, the Special Apostle Alani Ige stressed the need for the faithful to live their lives as if it will end the next minute.
One of the children of the decease, former Lagos Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, Hon Oyinlomo Danmole read from Psalm 90 that teaches the faithful on the need to be conscious of death at all times.
While eulogising the late mother, Hon Danmole thanked God for His mercy for healthy live granted her late mother in which all the five children were trained in the way of the Lord.
Describing her as a disciplanarian, Hon Danmole said the children went to church with her when they were growing up despite the fact that the father was a Muslim.
A member of the ECOWAS Union, Mrs Shadeko who joined the elder”s forum of the church in 1980 described her as a dogged and honest woman.
Late Rev Apostle Mother Susanah Adedoyin Danmole who was 98 years old would be interned tomorrow Friday at the Ikoyi cemetery.
