A pan Lagos organization, Pan Lagos Youth Movement has expressed excitement over the unveiling of the first set of the electric buses in Lagos by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, describing the project as a promise fulfilled.
Speaking with newsmen in Epe, Lagos State on Monday, Leader of the Movement, Comrade Oladipipo Adewale reminded that, Sanwo-Olu has promised a better Lagos in his second term if given the mandate, pointing out that, the Electric bus project unveiled on April 30, is a confirmation of his character as a promise fulfilling administrator.
Oladipupo who reminded that there has never been a promise the governor made that he has not fulfilled or has not made concerted efforts at fulfilling it, said, “the more reason we believed him when he assured that he would put more smiles on our faces if given a second term mandate,” stating that, “the good people of Lagos who are familiar with Sanwo-Olu’s antecedence as a man of his word also did their part by giving him the mandate he asked for.”
The Movement boss therefore expressed the need to go a step further beyond the mandate given by doubling their support for the governor to enable him also fulfil to the letter, all his promises, believing that, “with the electric busses achievement even ever before the second term inauguration is an indication that Sanwo-Olu has set out on the right path od promise fulfilment.”
Oladipupo, who expressed appreciation to the electorate that considered Sanwo-Olu a worthy candidate to vote for on March 18, said even the opposition elements in the state must have seen the clear evidence of superiority therefore appealed to them to rally round the governor who is known for distributing dividends of democracy indiscriminately across the state.
The latest electric busses, according to Oladipupo, is another trail blazing achievement for a city desiring a mega status from no other person than a tested and trusted administrator of Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Status, thanking God for directing the mind of the people of Lagos to vote right just as they did in 2019.
The activist however urged the governor also not to rest on his oars but keep dishing out more achievements on a daily basis and see the second term mandate as a clarion call to do more, telling him that, “a second term in office is a call for more hard work.”
