As the people of Lagos have been allowed to move out of their homes since Monday, a concerned activist, Comrade Omobanke Razak, has cautioned them to exercise restraints so as not to defeat the objective of the freedom granted them.
Recall that the residents of the state have been indoors where they have been observing the government mandatory ‘Lockdown Order,’ imposed on the citizenry to avoid contracting the dreaded coronavirus code-named COVID-19.

The youthful activist also hinted that, whistle blowers are all over the state monitoring the movement of everyone in the state with a view to reporting attitudes capable of putting the lives of the citizenry in medical jeopardy and report such to the authorities for adequate sanctions.
He further urged the whistle blowers to do their work well, reminding them however that their was not to witch hunt or harass anybody but to guide against contravention of any of the containment measures put down by the Lagos administration for the wellbeing of the citizenry.
Razak further reminded that the government’s decision to free the people for means of livelihood was borne out of compassion to safeguard the personal and national economy from going completely down and thereby render the people irredeemably impoverished.
Against this background, the youth leader cautioned the people not to misuse the opportunity to cause more havoc for the state and the country at large, stressing the need for cooperation with the Lagos State administration of Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu to consolidate the gains already achieved in the fight against coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
Razak stated that the authorities decided to monitor compliance with all the preventive rules against the deadly disease ravaging the whole world, emphasising that, “the only way to defeat the deadly disease remains strict adherence to wearing of face covers, observing high level of hygienic conducts, Social Distancing as well as steering clear of crowded places.”
