The programme was organised by the Sola Osolana Foundation and more than 500 families benefitted from the food palliatives programme.

Each family went home with a food pack comprising: rice, beans, yam, noodles and other staple food items.

According to Osolana, this year’s programme is unique and special because it is held in support of the ‘Renewed Hope Re-election Bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’.

Osolana described Tinubu as a man who is committed to making life better for the people.

“He deserves our support and I urge Nigerians to fully support this administration. Asiwaju Tinubu has shown that he is well prepared for the job.

According to him, recent events have revealed that Nigeria has started to reap the rewards of the seemingly hard decisions taken by the Tinubu administration to move the nation forward.

“Inflation has gone down while food prices are also going down. Global rating agencies have lauded the reforms of the Tinubu administration,” he said.

He assured that he will continue to campaign for the re-election of the President because he has earned it.
