…Vows Alimosho Will Deliver for Asiwaju Massively in 2027
All Progressives Congress (APC) Apex leader in Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdul-Rahman Adebisi Yusuff, has commended party leaders, council chairmen, women leaders, and other stakeholders for their outstanding efforts in the recently concluded party e-registration exercise.
Speaking at a press conference at Orisun House, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, Yusuff, who also serves as Director-General of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT), vowed that Alimosho will deliver massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

The meeting was attended by party leaders across the federal constituency, past members of the House of Representatives, former commissioners, and women leaders, among others.
According to the three-term former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, “This is my first major assignment after Mr. President, Asiwaju, entrusted me with the leadership of our party in Alimosho Federal Constituency and the task of ensuring that all segments of our party in Alimosho are united.

“This is my first assignment, and I’m very happy to say that we did not fail. I thank the leaders of our party, the council chairmen, women leaders, ward coordinators, and members for giving us this tremendous success in the e-registration exercise. The success we recorded cannot be divorced from the achievements and activities of Mr. President.
“His work, performance, and humanity are evident. We can start with infrastructural developments, social interventions, and his financial and economic dexterity. People are very conscious of Mr. President’s performance, and as a result, everybody wants to identify with our party, the most organized political party in Africa, APC.
“We are just slightly behind Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the e-registration exercise, but we are confident that we will not fail Mr. President. The total number of e-registered party members in Alimosho Federal Constituency stands at 97,528 organic members. This feat would not have been achieved without Asiwaju’s generosity at the grassroots,” said Yusuff.

The Ayobo Ipaja LCDA pioneer chairman highlighted the performance of Alimosho’s six council chairmen, noting that their grassroots achievements have strengthened public confidence and shown that good governance is in place.
“Now, our local governments have adequate resources to perform. All six council chairmen are now ‘engineers’ in development, demonstrating effective leadership in their localities. Their achievements at the grassroots have raised public confidence, showing that good governance is in place in Alimosho Federal Constituency and across the state. Every local government in Alimosho is now a construction site.
“From Agbado Okeodo LCDA to Alimosho, Ayobo Ipaja, Mosan Okunola, Egbe Idimu, and down to Igando Ikotun, our chairmen are performing remarkably well. As a result, people at the grassroots now identify more with our party. Political apathy is fading, and membership is growing. Special thanks to Mr. President for making this possible.

“I urge our chairmen not to let these successes cloud their judgment. These are just test cases. I learned from former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola that the reward for small success is more work. We must not rest on our laurels. I am pleased that we have regained our position in the political affairs of Lagos State and Nigeria.
“We have asserted our authority as Alimosho Federal Constituency. Alimosho is united and harmonious. Nobody can divide us. Based on what Asiwaju told me, to unite Alimosho Federal Constituency, I am committed to achieving complete unification of all segments,” he said.
He stated that political apathy is declining as grassroots support for the APC grows, adding that people are joining the party willingly, inspired by Mr. President’s initiatives, including NELFUND and student loans.

On youth participation, he noted that Generation Z and new voters turning 18 are already joining the APC after witnessing the president’s impact nationwide.
“They have already taken charge of their destinies. They have witnessed programs such as NELFUND and student loans, which they had not seen before, and they are now benefiting. They are pleased with our government at the center and across the states.
“We, as grassroots mobilizers in Alimosho Constituency, took the initiative to go home-to-home during the e-registration exercise. We did not coerce anyone to join; we presented the gospel of Asiwaju’s achievements, and they aligned with us.
“In Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is performing tremendously well. Therefore, it is easier to convince people to register as APC members. We are not social media politicians. Come 2027, we will deliver massively for Mr. President,” he assured.
