The All Progressives Congress (APC) women’s wing is targeting 40 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, Director of Women Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Betta Edu, has said.
Edu spoke shortly after the inauguration of the APC Presidential Women Campaign Council at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
She said the mobilisation would be coordinated across the 36 states, 774 local government areas, wards, communities and polling units, with women at the centre of the grassroots engagement.
According to her, the campaign would focus on women’s participation and mobilisation under the Renewed Hope Agenda 2.0: “From Reforms to Prosperity.”
Edu expressed confidence in Tinubu’s re-election prospects, declaring, “President Tinubu will win again.”
She said the campaign’s grassroots strategy would be driven by a coordinated structure designed to take the administration’s message to communities ahead of the 2027 elections.
The initiative, she said, would be anchored on a 40-million-woman vote target, coordinated mobilisation and a single mandate for the party.
“40 Million Women Vote Target. One Coordinated Mobilisation. One Mandate,” Edu said.
