The Emir stressed that Shehu Usman’s contributions have established a robust foundation for northern development in Lagos, earning him respect across generations and enabling him to effectively manage complex challenges and foster harmony among diverse groups.
He urged the Arewa community to emulate Shehu Usman’s leadership by remaining peaceful, law-abiding, and cooperative with the state government to achieve genuine progress, stressing that true progress can only be achieved through unity and mutual respect.
