Similarly, the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, received an award from the California Legislature in recognition of her outstanding efforts in promoting Lagos’ cultural heritage and tourism potential.
The honor also acknowledges her support for artists and musicians benefiting both Lagos and California, as well as her dedication to strengthening the partnership between the two regions.
Additionally, the Office of State Representative Matt Haney held a strategic meeting with the Lagos State delegation to advance discussions on a dynamic city-state collaboration.
