Renowned singer Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia has addressed the swirling rumors linking his relationship with Natasha Osawaru, the deputy majority leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, to his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.
On Monday, 2Baba made an unexpected appearance at the state assembly’s plenary session, fueling speculation about his ties with Natasha. Some reports suggested that she played a role in his marital issues.
However, in a video shared on Instagram, the music star set the record straight, stating that Natasha has no connection to his situation with Annie. He also openly expressed his admiration for her, saying, “Yes, I love her. I want to marry her.”
Defending Natasha against the backlash, the African Queen crooner described her as a “young, brilliant, and amazing woman” who has been unfairly labeled a “home breaker.”
“I said what I said. Everyone will be fine… Honourable Natasha has been dragged and called all sorts of names. She is a young, intelligent, and wonderful person,” he stated.
“She has absolutely nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie. But I see people trying to pull her into the situation. Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool, and I want to marry her.”
