Ikeja City Mall (ICM), home to popular retail outlets such as Shoprite, has been temporarily closed due to a power outage.
Located in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, ICM houses a variety of establishments, including the Silverbird Cinema, eateries, clothing brands, retail stores, and multiple bank ATMs.
A notice placed at the mall’s entrance by the management reads:
“Dear valued customers,
We regret to inform you that we are currently experiencing a break in power transmission affecting our services. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and are working diligently to restore power as soon as possible. Thank you.”
As of 12:30 p.m. on Monday, several customers were seen waiting outside the premises, hoping for the resumption of normal operations.
The management has assured patrons that efforts are underway to resolve the issue promptly.
