Members of the Lagos People’s Assembly (LPA) have described the passing of Hon. Oladotun Olakanle as a “great shock and a devastating blow.”
In a press release issued on Saturday and signed by its Convener, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, the LPA noted that Hon. Olakanle’s death serves as a reminder that life is fragile, as he was full of life just hours before the tragic incident.
Hon. Olakanle was a devoted public servant, diligent administrator, and committed politician who will be greatly missed, not only by his party in Onigbongbo LCDA but across the state.
The LPA prayed for Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and urged strength for his family to bear this loss.
“He was a good man, an astute public servant, a reliable politician, and a true friend of the people, whom he served until his final moments this morning.”
