The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has extended her heartfelt condolences to the Governors of Sokoto and Bauchi States following tragic incidents that have recently occurred in their regions.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Senator Tinubu expressed deep sorrow over the boat mishap in Sokoto State, which resulted in the loss of lives, as well as the flooding incident in Bauchi State, which claimed more lives and caused significant property damage.

“I extend my deepest condolences to the Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, and the Bauchi State Governor, His Excellency Senator Bala Mohammed, CON, on the recent occurrences in their States,” the First Lady stated.

She expressed sympathy for the families affected by these tragedies, offering her thoughts and prayers to those who have lost loved ones, as well as those who have been displaced or suffered property losses.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones and properties, as well as those who have been displaced. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, and may God comfort the affected families and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” Senator Tinubu said.
