In a heartfelt message marking the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has extended her warmest greetings to Muslims in Ijede and around the globe.
Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba emphasized the profound lessons to be drawn from the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his son, whose unwavering faith, obedience, and willingness to sacrifice for Allah serve as a powerful reminder of the core values of Islam.
“As we commemorate their courage and faith, may we too be guided by the values of compassion, generosity, and selflessness,” she urged.
Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time for Muslims to express their gratitude to Almighty Allah for His countless blessings and mercies.
Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba expressed her hopes that the sacrifices made during this period will be accepted by Allah, and that it will be a time of reflection and spiritual renewal for all.
“May our sacrifices be accepted, our sins forgiven, and our hearts filled with peace, happiness, and prosperity,” she prayed.

She called on everyone to continue working together towards the progress and advancement of Ijede LCDA, stressing that collective efforts are essential for the area’s development.
“TaqabalaLlahu Minna Wa Minkum. May Allah bless us all and accept our prayers,” she concluded, extending her blessings and well-wishes to all celebrating Eid.
