First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON has paid a condolence visit to the Chairman of the Governors Advisory Council, GAC in Lagos State Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi who lost his wife on Saturday 14th October.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu who was accompanied on the visit by the wife of the Lagos State Governor Dr Mrs Ibijoke Sanwoolu and wife of the State Deputy Governor Mrs Oluremi Hamzat described the demise of Late Alhaja Mariam Olusi as especially painful, as it occurred a day after her husband celebrated his 87th birthday.
The First Lady shared fond memories of the late Alhaja Olusi who she said was a quiet, gentle and loving woman.
She urged the husband, children and grandchildren to take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life.
Husband of the deceased Prince Tajudeen Olusi thanked the First Lady for the visit saying he would sorely miss the woman he spent 57 years of his life with.
Prayers were offered by the Chief Imam of Lagos and others for the repose of the soul of the departed.
Late Alhaja Maryam Olusi was 77 years old and is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren among who is the chairman of Lagos Island Local Government, Hon. Toyese Olusi.
