A combined team of policemen attached to the Gowon Estate and Shasha Police Divisions foiled an attempt to attack a branch of Access Bank in Akowonjo, Lagos State on Friday.
Some aggrieved customers stormed the premises of the bank to protest over their inability to withdraw money which degenerated when one of the customers started to hurl stones at the building.
The tension was doused following the intervention of the policemen who arrived the scene to restore order.
