The ruling All Progressives Congresss has asked former President, Olusegun Obasanjo to concentrate on enjoying his retirement rather than heating up the polity.
The party also said that there is no political relevance in the recent comment by the former President endorsing a Presidential candidate ahead of the February 25th poll.
Spokesman of APC Lagos State chapter, Hon Seye Oladejo made this comment
in Ikeja at a forum rganised by the APC-PCC Lagos Media and Publicity Committee.
Reacting to those demanding for the Medical records of the APC candidate, Bola Tinubu, Oladejo said that it is not enough to present Tinunu’ health record adding none of the Candidates in this election had been campaigning all over the country like him.
The party’s Spokesman belives APC will win the Presidential election on the basis of performance and Scorecards in the past.
Seye Oladejo also expressed gratitude to all the groups created by the APC PCC Lagos and olunteers that have rendered selfless service in showcasing the achievements of Tinubu as Governor of Lagos State.
Also speaking, the state commissioner for Information, Mr Gbenga Omotoso said the recent commissioning of landmark projects in the state by the President is a testimony to the success story of Governor Sanwoolu.
He assured the group of necessary support from the state government towards realising their aim of promoting the ideals and values of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwoolu.
Earlier, the Chairman of the APC PCC Lagos Media and Publicity Committee, Hon Kehinde Bamgbetan said various committees had showcased the Scorecards of Tinubu in all sectors when he served as helmsman of Lagos.
He said the election will be won on the basis of information released to the public.
According to him, Tinubu remain a sellable product despite several moves by the opposition to run him down.
The forum also had in attendance, the General Manager, Traffic Radio, Mr Tayo Akanle, his Radio Lagos/Eko fm counterpart, Mr Jide Lawal and other senior Editors across various media platforms.
