The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon. Karamo Yesiro.

In a statement issued on behalf of the party, the Lagos APC Spokesman, Seye Oladejo, described the passing of Yesiro as shocking and a painful loss to the party.

Oladejo noted that the late party chieftain died at a time when his energy, commitment and passion for progressive politics were most needed within the party’s structure in the state.

According to him, Yesiro had just been entrusted with the responsibility of serving in the State Executive Council, where he demonstrated dedication, loyalty and a strong belief in the ideals of the APC.

He added that although his tenure in the office was tragically short, the late politician’s enthusiasm, humility and readiness to serve left a lasting impression on party members and colleagues.

The Lagos APC spokesman described Yesiro as a vibrant party loyalist whose contributions to the growth and stability of the party in Lagos State would not be forgotten.

The party also extended its condolences to the immediate family, friends, political associates and supporters of the deceased during the period of mourning.

“The Lagos APC stands united in mourning this painful departure and prays that Almighty God grants his family the strength to bear the irreparable loss and his soul eternal rest,” the statement said.

Yesiro will be remembered for his service, commitment and dedication to the progressive cause, the party added.
