Leader of over 70 Civil Society Organizations, Comrade Razaq Olokoba has finalised arrangement to lead the Kwara Central Volunteers for Saliu Mustapha’s senatorial ambition in Kwara State in fulfilment of his promise to ensure victory for Mallam Saliu Mustapha’s senatorial ambition next year.
Others on the bill of the campaign are Governor Abdur-Raman Abdur-Razaq’s second term in office and the presidential aspiration of the former Lagos State governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju (Senator) Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Olokoba, who would be accompanied by the Co-Convener, Comrade Muhammed Yusuff said the campaign is aimed at complimenting the efforts on ground by the candidates “with our existing structure across the Country,” asserting that, all the APC candidates across board are to be supported for continuity and improvement on the job the party has been doing since its inception in the country and in various states the party has been controlling.
Olokoba, who said the coalition is a non-partisan however revealed that, its stands to support some special individuals is nothing but for the good of the generality of the citizenry, stressing the need for all well-meaning Nigerians home and abroad to support performers, whose pedigree and antecedences had thrown them up as the best materials for the country.
According to him, the APC senatorial candidate for Kwara Central District, Mallam Saaliu Mustapha has proven his capacity to impart positively on the lives of the people of his district and beyond just as he has been doing before ascending on political throne, reasoning further that his victory would rub positively on the chance of Governor Abdur-Razaq whose election would come later after the Presidential and legislative Houses’ election on February 2023.
He assured that, the support for the trio would be showcased in several state wide major and mini rallies to be staged across the state and beyond where reasons for support for them would be properly and adequately marshalled, thanking the people for their anticipated support for the coalition’s effort asserting it is for the welfare of the citizenry.
He therefore urged the people to encourage issue based electioneering devoid of vulgar languages, hate speeches and hooliganism, urging the youth not to allow themselves to be used as tools for destruction and disaster for the sake of their future.
Concluding, the renowned political analyst expressed enthusiasm that, with efforts at showcasing the true colour of the candidates under discussion, the next general election would simply be a formality believing that, “electioneering without bitterness is the magic for peaceful and credible elections.”
