The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his emergence as standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 presidential poll.
Tinubu emerged winner of the APC presidential primary with 1,271 votes to defeat 13 other aspirants on Wednesday afternoon at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
Congratulating him for the feat, Atiku wrote on his verified Twitter handle: “Congratulations, @officialABAT, on your emergence as your party’s presidential candidate. It has been a hard-fought contest, but that you prevailed confirms your tenacity. -AA”.
