Six Oyo State APC Chieftains Make List Of National Convention Committee Membership

Only Six Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC),  chieftains: Adedoja, Buhari, Akintola, Akande and  Olaiya, have been specially selected as members of various committees of the Party convention starting in Abuja on Sunday.

Prof Taoheed Adedoja, former minister of sports and Special Duties was cited as a member of the budget committee, Senator Abdul-Fattah Buhari, a second term senator who recently won the Oyo North senatorial primaries is to serve in finance and logistics committee, Barrister Niyi Akintola (SAN), who was a governorship aspirant, is in legal committee while Bosun Oladele is in Budget committee.

Professor Adeolu Akande, chairman of the National Communications Commission (NCC), is in Digital Communications committee.

Also a contestant for the national secretary of the party in the last national convention of the party, Prof  Abideen Olaiya is in convention preparation management committee.

The national convention commences in Abuja on Sunday June 5, 2022  is to elect the Party’s Presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections in Nigeria including the presidential, governorship, National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly elections.
