The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Lagos Central Senatorial District, Rt Honourable Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni, has expressed appreciation to delegates who voted overwhelmingly for him during the primary election which took place today, Saturday, 28 May, 2022.
At the primary election conducted at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Eshinlokun-Sanni won convincingly scoring 185 delegate votes to beat his closest rival and Nigeria Ambassador to Spain, Ademola Seriki who scored 94 delegate votes.
“This is a victory for all and it is a huge call to service and I assure you that I will not disappoint. Senator Oluremi has laid a benchmark for us to work on. She has laid a solid foundation for us to build on and we will not disappoint,” he assured.
Rt Honourable Eshinlokun-Sanni expressed appreciation to the National Leader of the party and president aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; his wife, Oluremi; members of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), leaders and members of the party, particularly delegates who defied the hot sun to participate in the exercise.
“I thank you all and together we shall work and achieve victory at the general elections,” he said.
